Sunny Days Ahead !!

Hello !
Sunny days ahead ! That's the forecast ! That should put a little spring in everyone's step. Soooo ... what's new ??

Beads : a new kit this week ! This bracelet is made with the beautiful new multi tone crystals for lots of bling !!! The kit includes the crystals, tubes, spacers, crimps, wire, magnetic clasps, crimp covers, instructions, and photos. $10 per kit.

Magnetic clasps - restocked !!

Paper :
Kit of the Week : This week's kit uses Creative Imaginations paper by Samantha Walker. The paper is fun - florals & butterflies. The cards are for birthdays although one only says "Wishing you a lovely day" ... so it could be for another occasion !! All the pieces are included - precut & pre-stamped - for 3 cards for $5. Let me know if you want a kit set aside !!

Lots of great new tools this week ... they will make your crafting so much easier !!
* Spellbinders - new !!
Photobucket
* Sizzix Cardmaking & Embossing Machine - this is just what you need if you already have some kind of electronic cutting machine and just want something to EMBOSS using folders from Sizzix and Cuttlebug. This cute little machine embosses but does not cut. But it is only $35.99 !!!
Photobucket
* Tombow Stamp Runner - a new glue system. It works as a glue runner but it also dispenses glue in spots. Both a glue stamper & runner. Awesome !!
* Strong Arm ... this is a mechanism used to make punching easier. You set your punch inside it, then use the handle for extra leverage ... great for those large stamps that are so hard to use !!!
* Zutter Dream Cuts - this machine cuts paper ... the same every time !! 27 different possible sizes can be cut, no batteries, self sharpening blades... and pink !!

* Maya Road _ sewing machine albums !!

A Little Sunshine ...

Hello ! Today there is some sunshine out there ... and it feels good ! It has been such a dull rainy month ... this sun is just what we needed !!

KIT OF THE WEEK : Also sunshiny !! I used bright colours ... guess I was craving a little brightness. Anyway, one of my favourite combinations is blue & orange (and they are complimentary colours I later learned) and to me they just say festive !! So I have some simple but festive birthday cards . I think they would be suitable for a woman, a man, or kids ... multi purpose !!It's funny but not one of them says "Happy Birthday" ... they say "Eat Cake", "Wish Big" and "It's Your Day" ... nice to have a little different greeting !! So you get all the pieces precut & prestamped to make the 3 cards ... all for $5.

Paper : I have a few more Lawn Fawn samples for you ... I really adore these stamps. They really are a style I like and I can't seem to stop making cards with them !!
PhotobucketPhotobucket
And here are some fun new tools & products ...Spritz Screens and Spritz Boards by Hampton Art. They come in packages or I am selling them individually for 50 cents a piece. You would spray or sponge ink over the Screens to create a design on your paper. The Boards are embossed with a resist design that appears when ink is rubbed or sprayed on them ... much like the paper we used a few weeks ago. They would make a really cute addition to a card or page. Here is an example of a card background with the screen sponged over and a board that has been rubbed with ink.

** I have a basket of stamps marked down for quick sale ... up to 50% off !!!! **
Beads : More checker beads ... some would be great focal beads ... prngle shaped !! Still unpacking and putting out new charms and findings. I have some more new semi precious donut beads. And the seedbead rack is getting refilled !!!

Graduation Time ... and LAWN FAWN !!!!

Hello !
Let's start with the Kit of the Week ... Graduation cards. I was recently at a department store looking through their cards ... thinking I could just buy a quick graduation card instead of making one ... YIKES !!! The simplest little card was almost $3 ... and that was the lowest price !!! I decided I would be making them from now on !!
Photobucket
So this week's kit will give you 3 cards for $5 ... definitely a deal !! The cards are all for graduation ... could be university or high school. The brads in the kits will vary - some have graduation caps, some have diplomas, and other designs, but all nice and theme appropriate !! Now, there is a very limited number of these kits so please let me know (either by leaving a comment here or on Facebook) if you want one set aside for you. I had limited supplies so there is only about half the regular number.

Now ... BEADS ... I have unpacked even more charms ... cats, dogs, soccer, boys & girls, fishing, sewing, angels, owls galore, koalas, cows, horses, zebras, castles, Mickey Mouse, moose, leaves, dog bones, and more !!! Also more of the crazy checkered beads !! I am also working on a kit using those beautiful new crystals but it may not get done this week ... something about 2000 chicks arriving today makes me think I may be busy elsewhere ... lol.

And PAPER ... LAWN FAWN STAMPS !!! I am officially in love with these stamps !! I sat down yesterday to make some samples and had a hard time stopping !!! The possibilities are limitless !!
Here are a few reasons why I love them ... and why I think you will too !!
1. they are ready to stamp straight from the package ... no conditioning.
2. Now this is clever ... they are stored on a hinged plastic sheet. No more losing the little sheet that you put them on ... All together in one tidy easily stored package !!
3. They are whimsical and simple ... and oh so charming !!
4. They look like the handwriting you WISH you had !!
5. The designs are simple so they are easily cut out or coloured ... so easy !!
6. Because all the sets are the same style of whimsical line drawings, they work together beautifully !! Mix & Match !!
7. This is the way I WOULD draw if I COULD draw !!
8. The designs make me smile !!
9. The sayings are easily cut apart for more flexibility.
10. Our dollar makes them the same price here in Canada as in the US ... YAY !!
11. I've spoken to the designer ... and she is super nice ... so it's great to support her !!
12. The possibilities are limitless ... you will get lost in all the fun combinations ...
13. The website is really excellent ... lots of samples to inspire you !! www.lawnfawn.com

Now ... here are a few cards I made ... some are my own designs and some are "scraplifted" from the website samples ... I had so much fun !! And I only used 3 sets so far ... can't wait to use the others !!
